Industrias Jovida S.A. de C.V. has been specializing in manufacturing sewing threads for over 30 years. It is originally based in Taiwan and China, our plant is now centrally located in Zona Franca La Concordia, Jiquilisco, Usulután, El Salvador with offices and warehouses in San Salvador, El Salvador and San Pedro Sula, Honduras. It has been established in El Salvador since 2002, our company currently employs 120 workers with exports of our sewing threads and dyeing services to El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Guatemala but we are looking for international markets.
Products and services:
We supply several types of sewing and specialty threads such as 100% Spun polyester sewing thread 40/2, 40/3, 30/2.
We have 100 % Polyester Texturized yarns and threads from 100D/1, 150D/1, 300D/1 ( not torsion) and Tex18, Tex24 (torsion) for sewing, for braiding cords, knitting socks, weaving labels and elastics and tapes etc. Our line of polyester threads provides excellent strength for very heavy duty sewing.
Our sewing threads are available in Asian origin, CAFTA origin and U.S. origin in accordance to clients’ requirements.
Other Products and services:
Since 2008, our company has begun a line of products as cords, twill tapes and elastics. For this we have 30 machines to make twill tape and elastic and other 248 machines to make cords and different style of elastic.
We are currently providing dyeing services of polyester yarns for other large manufacturers/suppliers in different industries such as twill tapes, cords, elastics, labels and socks.
Thread Production/Capacity:
We have 24 sets of fully automatic thread winders and 96 sets of regular sewing thread winders, we have a capacity of winding 90,000 kgs to 110,000 kgs of sewing threads monthly depending on the thickness of threads and size of cones.
We currently have 10 sets of winders for Polyester Texturized Threads and presently producing 20,000 kgs of 1 lb cones.
Our dyeing capacity at present is 200,000 kilos of yarn monthly processed with 19 sets of dyeing machines with our largest at a capacity of 800 kgs / dye lot and our smallest at 3kgs / dye lot.
There are 2 sets of High Radio Frequency dryers to ensure the dryness of all our yarns and threads.

Deliveries:
We operate 24 hours/7 days per week, all our deliveries services are made through 10 vehicles, all owned by our company, to ensure that our clients shipments will be arriving on time.
The lead time for matching color of samples thread is usually 2-3 days from date of sample pick up depending on country and distance to our plant in El Salvador. Once you have confirmed our samples, the dead line for delivering orders usually takes 2-6 days (depending on volume of order) from purchase order date but if it is urgent, deliveries can also be arranged to the next day it will depend on distance and transportation time in the same country.
